System improvements, upgrades and projects
We are continuously working to maintain and improve the water system. Some of the major projects we are currently working on involve the installation of new, or the replacement of existing, equipment and facilities needed to provide safe, reliable water service.
Water Main Replacement in Ridgefield, CT

Connecticut
Aquarion Water Company will continue to approximately 2,300 feet of water main. This project began in September 2025, affecting the following streets:
- Bennett’s Farm Rd
- Lakeside Dr
- Lakeside Dr Ext
- Rainbow Rd
- Rustic Rd
Due to construction in the area, customers may experience minor traffic delays and possible detours during the working hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work is expected to be completed by June 2026. Final paving will be scheduled in coordination with the Town of Ridgefield, CT.
