System improvements, upgrades and projects
We are continuously working to maintain and improve the water system. Some of the major projects we are currently working on involve the installation of new, or the replacement of existing, equipment and facilities needed to provide safe, reliable water service.

Main Replacement in Westport, CT: Duck Pond Road and Saugatuck Avenue
Feb 9, 2024 ConnecticutWe will be replacing 6800 feet of main beginning in February 2024. Work will start on Duck Pond Road and will continue onto Saugatuck Avenue working towards Ferry Lane. Due to construction, customers should expect minor traffic delays and possible detours during the working hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work is expected to be completed by the end of October. Final paving will then be scheduled in coordination with the Town of Westport and CT DOT.Read more -
Main Replacement in Bridgeport, CT: Kossuth St, Maple Ave, and Jane St.
Feb 9, 2024 ConnecticutWe will be replacing 3000 feet of main on Kossuth Street, Maple Ave, and Jane Street, beginning in February 2024. Due to construction, customers should expect minor traffic delays and possible detours during the working hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work is expected to be completed by the end of May 2024.
