Aquarion Water Company is notifying customers in Greenwich, Connecticut, near the North Street bridge by Cotswood Road about temporary low water pressure in the area.
The Town of Greenwich is currently completing an infrastructure improvement project that includes replacing the North Street bridge. To safely accommodate this work, a section of a nearby water main has been taken out of service.
What Customers Can Expect
Because of this temporary change, along with high outdoor water demand and the town’s ongoing infrastructure project, customers in the vicinity of the North Street bridge may continue to experience lower-than-normal water pressure during this period.
Follow the Mandatory Irrigation Schedule
To help maintain adequate water pressure for all customers in the area, Aquarion reminds customers to follow the mandatory, two-day-per-week irrigation schedule and limit irrigation to the hours of 10:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. These restrictions are in effect until further notice.
Aquarion will be patrolling the area to ensure that customers are following the mandatory irrigation schedule. Following this schedule will help support system reliability while the project continues. If conditions do not improve, Aquarion may be required to further limit irrigation.
