System improvements, upgrades and projects

We are continuously working to maintain and improve the water system.  Some of the major projects we are currently working on involve the installation of new, or the replacement of existing, equipment and facilities needed to provide safe, reliable water service.

Construction Hours & Traffic Access

Normal construction hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. However, to encourage a timelier completion of the project, construction hours may be adjusted to 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. In special circumstances, Saturday work may be required.

During construction, detours are in place during work hours and vary by location. Detour routes include Belden Hill Road, Sier Hill Road, Old Boston Road, and Old Kings Highway depending on the work zone.

Please follow the detour route shown during construction hours. The detour route consists of Old Boston Road and Old Kings Highway.

Residents living within the project area should allow extra time to enter/exit the respective work zones and coordinate with traffic control for access to their property. All bus stops will remain at their current locations, and emergency vehicles will be granted immediate access through the work area.
